Holzsch warrants its furniture products, including but not limited to tables, chairs, beds, dressers, desks, cabinets, entertainment units, benches, built-ins, and other furniture items it produces, to be free from defects in workmanship.

Holzsch commits to, at its discretion, undertake modifications, adjustments, repairs, replacements, or additions to ensure its products uphold this standard for 1 year, with no extra cost to the customer, considering the limitations and exceptions detailed below.

Limitations and exceptions.

This warranty spans 1 year from the product's shipment date and is exclusive to the original buyer. Holzsch’s warranty, whether expressed or implied, solely covers its products' standard usage as per the product specifications and care guidelines shared with the customer upon purchase. The warranty doesn’t cover conditions arising from accidents, third-party actions, environmental factors, misuse, abuse, delivery damages, or results of unauthorized modifications or alterations. Conditions resulting from inappropriate maintenance, care, or damages stemming from chemical treatments, cleaning agents, or protective coatings on the product are also excluded. Usage of such treatments and products nullifies all warranties by Holzsch. The only resolution for a product defect is strictly confined to Holzsch repairing or replacing the faulty part, without extending the warranty duration. This will be actioned only upon Holzsch receiving a valid written defect claim from the original buyer within 1 year of the product’s shipment. While our pieces are crafted for endurance and longevity, natural attributes such as movement, checks, knots, warping, swelling, and color shifts are inherent to solid wood furniture and might occur over time. Various environmental factors can also influence your furniture’s state over its lifespan. Elements like light, temperature, and humidity play pivotal roles in your furniture’s well-being.

Size and dimension variability.

The sizes and dimensions of Holzsch's designs may slightly differ from the delivered products due to the natural expansion and contraction of wood, the inherent traits of the materials used, and the artisanal nature of Holzsch creations. The customer assumes all responsibility concerning the determination of a product’s precise size and dimension. Any discrepancies in size or dimension due to customer miscalculation will not lead to the cancellation of an order or warrant a refund.

Appearance variability.

Customers should note that the appearance of the wood chosen for a specific product might differ from sample pieces because of wood's natural characteristics and the unique craftsmanship in each Holzsch product. As such, there's no guarantee about the exact shade, sheen, or overall appearance of product finishes. Customers should also be aware that Holzsch's wooden products might showcase mineral deposits, pits, gum streaks, pinholes, knots, checks, cracks, color variances, distinctive grain patterns, darker heart wood, lighter sap wood, and more. The prevalence of these features varies based on the wood type and can be seen across both handcrafted and machined items. Since no two Holzsch products are identical, there's no assurance that one product will look precisely like another.

Damage during shipping.

Inspect your purchase promptly upon receiving it. We take great care in packing our items professionally to ensure safe delivery. If you notice any visible freight damage, make sure to note it on the freight bill before accepting the delivery. If you discover concealed damage, file a claim within 5 days of receiving the shipment, ensuring you include photos of the damage. Retain all paperwork and packaging materials, and reach out to us at once to initiate warranty claims.

Moreover, no representative of Holzsch or its distributors or retailers has the authority to alter this warranty in any way. Some retailers might offer extended or additional warranties, sometimes throughthird parties. Holzsch is not liable for any of these third-party or retailer warranties. CARING FOR YOUR NATURAL STONE FURNITURE

CHARACTERISTICS OF TRAVERTINE:

  • Handcrafted of vein-cut natural Italian travertine.
  • Honed and sealed for a satin finish with visible pitting that reveals the beauty and character of each piece.
  • Inherent variations in natural travertine color, texture and veining, as well as variance resulting from the hand finishing process, are to be expected and celebrated. No two items will be exactly alike.
  • Travertine has natural pitting of varied location that adds to the stone’s character. Larger pits are filled; smaller holes are left unfilled. Pits on tabletop will be smaller than on base.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE OF TRAVERTINE:

  • Wash periodically with a clean, damp cloth. If necessary, a small amount of mild dishwashing liquid may be used.
  • Travertine has natural pitting that can collect debris; dust regularly or use a handheld vacuum, or a soft-bristled brush with water and mild soap.
  • Avoid the use of harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaning materials.
  • The use of a resealer, such as Moreβ„’ Premium Stone Sealer, is recommended. Apply once a year or as needed.
  • Use placemats or trivets under hot items and coasters under beverages to prevent marks and stains.
  • Protect the surface from acidic substances like wine, coffee, fruit juice and tomato sauce.
  • Wipe spills immediately with a soft, dry cloth.
  • As a natural and porous material, travertine can be nicked, stained or scratched; avoid placing sharp or heavy objects on surface.

CHARACTERISTICS OF MARBLE:

  • Our marble is finished by hand and sealed for longevity.
  • Distinctive veins, markings and color variations are unique to each piece.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE OF MARBLE:

  • Although our marble furniture is sealed before shipping, the material is still porous by nature and can be stained, scratched or chipped.
  • Always blot spills immediately and rinse with a clean, damp cloth.
  • Do not place hot items directly on the marble.
  • To prevent ring marks, place coasters or trivets under glasses and dishes; use mats or runners beneath hard objects that might scratch the surface.
  • Dust frequently with a clean, soft cloth.
  • Wash periodically with a cloth dampened with warm water and if necessary, a small amount of mild dishwashing liquid or stone soap. Use a second damp cloth to thoroughly remove the soap.
  • Do not use chemical cleansers, sprays, abrasive cleaners, furniture polish or products that contain lemon, vinegar or other acids.
  • The use of a resealer, such as Moreβ„’ Premium Stone Sealer, is recommended. Apply once a year or as needed.

CHARACTERISTICS OF ONYX:

  • Handcrafted of onyx, a calcite-rich stone prized for its striking vein patterning and subtle translucency.
  • Onyx is buffed and sealed for a polished finish that highlights its distinctive striations.
  • Natural variations in veining and color make each piece unique.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE OF ONYX:

  • Onyx is sealed and polished before shipping but is porous by nature and can be stained, scratched or chipped.
  • Protect from acidic substances like wine, coffee, fruit juice and tomato sauce. Always blot spills immediately and rinse with a clean, damp cloth.
  • To prevent ring marks, place coasters or trivets under glasses and dishes; use mats or runners beneath hard objects that might scratch the surface.
  • Do not place hot items directly on the tabletop.
  • Do not use chemical cleansers, dusting sprays or abrasive cleaners.
  • Dust frequently with a soft, dry cloth. Wash periodically with a cloth dampened with warm water, and if necessary, a small amount of mild dishwashing
liquid. Use a second damp cloth to remove the soap.
  • The application of a polish is recommended to restore the polished look of the stone. Apply once every two years or as needed.
