Waterfall Walnut Live Edge Stool – 14" x 18"
Material & Surface Character
The Waterfall Walnut Live Edge Stool is handcrafted entirely from solid walnut, allowing the natural grain, tonal variation, knots, and organic markings of the wood to define the piece. Warm brown tones run continuously across the seat and vertical side panels, creating a cohesive material expression from every viewing angle.
Selected edges preserve the natural live contour of the walnut, introducing subtle irregularity into an otherwise clean geometric form. The contrast between the organic edge and the precise rectangular surfaces gives the stool a balanced architectural character. Natural knots and variations remain visible within the wood rather than being concealed, reinforcing the individuality of this specific piece.
Because walnut is a natural material, grain direction, coloration, knots, and live-edge contours will vary from one stool to another.
Structure, Form & Spatial Presence
Measuring 14 inches wide, 18 inches long, and 18 inches high, the stool has compact proportions suited to occasional seating, a bedside setting, or use as a small accent surface.
Its defining structural feature is the waterfall construction: the walnut top transitions directly into two broad vertical wooden legs, forming a continuous inverted U-shaped profile. This arrangement gives the stool a solid architectural presence while keeping the area beneath the seat completely open.
The broad side panels provide visual and structural stability, while the uninterrupted wood construction maintains a simple, material-focused appearance. Its 18-inch height places it within a practical seating range while preserving the compact scale of an accent stool.

Craftsmanship & Custom Options
Each Waterfall Walnut Live Edge Stool is individually handcrafted from carefully selected walnut. Particular attention is given to grain orientation, joinery, proportion, and the transitions between the horizontal seat and vertical side panels.
Natural live-edge sections are retained where they contribute to the overall form, ensuring that each finished stool reflects the characteristics of the original wood. Variations in grain, knots, coloration, and edge shape are expected and make every piece distinct.
Custom dimensions and project-specific modifications may be available upon request.
