Material & Surface Character

The 48" × 144" Skybar Rectangular Dining Table is a monumental statement piece crafted from Saman, also known as Monkey Pod, and finished with a sophisticated whitewashed treatment. The finish softens the wood's natural warmth into a muted, contemporary palette while preserving the sweeping grain, organic contours, and distinctive character of the slabs beneath.

A transparent gray epoxy river follows the naturally irregular inner edges of the wood, introducing depth and subtle contrast across the 12-foot tabletop. The translucent resin allows portions of the architectural base structure to remain visible through the surface, adding another visual layer to the design. Straight perimeter edges establish a precise rectangular silhouette around the organic composition.

 

Structure, Form & Spatial Presence

Measuring 48 inches wide, 144 inches long, and 30 inches high, the Skybar is designed for expansive dining rooms, conference spaces, hospitality environments, and other large-scale interiors. Its extraordinary 12-foot length creates an impressive communal surface while the 48-inch width provides generous room for dining, entertaining, or meetings.

The substantial top is supported by transparent plexiglass bases, creating the illusion that the tabletop is suspended within the room. A solid wood reinforcing stretcher connects the base structure beneath the table, introducing a warm material accent while providing visual continuity with the wood above. The transparency of the supports keeps the composition remarkably open and light despite its considerable scale.

Careful attention to the transitions between wood, resin, and transparent plexiglass gives this large-format table its distinctive architectural character.

Natural variations in grain, slab contours, knots, color, and epoxy patterns ensure that every Skybar table is unique. Custom dimensions, wood finishes, epoxy colors, and related design details may be available for commissioned pieces.

The piece shown may already be sold; however, a very similar piece can be custom-crafted upon request.

Return Window

You may request a return within 30 days of receiving your order.

Eligibility for Return

  • The item must be in unused, undamaged condition
  • It must be shipped back in original or equivalent protective packaging
  • Stock items are eligible for return
  • Custom-made items are not eligible unless they arrive with a clear defect or damage

Items Not Eligible for Return

  • Custom orders, including any bespoke dimensions, materials, finishes, or epoxy selections
  • Products altered after delivery (including refinishing, assembly, or third-party modifications)
  • Items marked Final Sale or Clearance
  • Items exposed to outdoor environments or improper conditions (e.g., humidity, heat, neglect)

How to Initiate a Return

  1. Contact info@holzsch.com within 30 days of delivery. Include your order number, a brief explanation, and photos if relevant.
  2. If approved, you will receive a Return Authorization and shipping instructions.
  3. The customer is responsible for return shipping and adequate packaging.
  4. Once we receive and inspect the item, we will issue a refund to the original payment method, minus original shipping costs.

Damaged or Defective Items

If your item arrives damaged or has a workmanship issue:

  • Notify us within 5 days of delivery
  • Include photos of the product and its packaging
  • Holzsch will repair, replace, or refund the item at our discretion

Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. If eligible, return the item and place a new order.

Additional Terms

  • Refunds are processed within 7–10 business days after inspection
  • Returns not meeting these conditions may be rejected or subject to a restocking fee
  • Holzsch reserves the right to evaluate each case individually
  • In-store returns for stock items follow the same 30-day return policy

2. Epoxy Resin Care:

  • Do not place hot objects directly on the epoxy resin sections. While the resin can handle some heat, prolonged exposure can cause discoloration or deformation.
  • Use coasters or placemats to prevent potential scratches or marks.
  • If the epoxy becomes cloudy or scratched over time, you can rejuvenate its shine by using a mild polishing compound and a soft cloth.

3. Wood Care:
