Side Round Walnut Table Ø14"
Material & Surface Character
The Ø14" Side Walnut Table is handcrafted from solid walnut, with a compact circular top that highlights the wood’s warm brown coloration, fine linear grain, and subtle tonal variation. The majority of the tabletop remains uninterrupted natural wood, allowing the walnut grain to define the surface.
Along one section of the perimeter, the original contour of the walnut creates a small organic opening that is filled with clear epoxy. The transparent resin preserves the irregular shape of the wood while completing the circular tabletop profile and providing a smooth, continuous surface. Because the epoxy remains clear, the natural edge and depth of the walnut are visible through the resin rather than concealed.
The substantial round top has a clean, softly finished perimeter that reinforces the table’s simple geometric form.
Structure, Form & Spatial Presence
Measuring 14 inches in diameter and 21 inches high, the table is proportioned for placement beside a sofa, lounge chair, or occasional seating area. Its narrow footprint provides a practical surface while occupying minimal floor space.
The base combines a cylindrical beige travertine element with two slender vertical wooden supports. The travertine provides visual weight at the lower portion of the composition, while the open space around it prevents the base from appearing overly solid. The two wood uprights extend toward the underside of the tabletop, visually connecting the walnut surface with the stone element below.
The combination of circular geometry, natural wood, transparent resin, and pale stone gives the table a clean architectural presence suited to contemporary and material-focused interiors.

Craftsmanship & Custom Options
Each side table is individually handcrafted with attention to the relationship between the walnut, clear epoxy, wooden supports, and travertine base. The natural opening in the tabletop is preserved as part of the design rather than removed, making the material itself an integral part of the final form.
Variations in walnut grain, coloration, natural contours, and epoxy placement are expected, so every table will have its own individual appearance. Custom dimensions and project-specific modifications may be available upon request.
The piece shown may already be sold; however, a very similar piece can be custom-crafted upon request.
