Holzsch warrants its furniture products, including but not limited to tables, chairs, beds, dressers, desks, cabinets, entertainment units, benches, built-ins, and other furniture items it produces, to be free from defects in workmanship.
Holzsch commits to, at its discretion, undertake modifications, adjustments, repairs, replacements, or additions to ensure its products uphold this standard for 1 year, with no extra cost to the customer, considering the limitations and exceptions detailed below.
Limitations and exceptions.
This warranty spans 1 year from the product's shipment date and is exclusive to the original buyer. Holzsch’s warranty, whether expressed or implied, solely covers its products' standard usage as per the product specifications and care guidelines shared with the customer upon purchase. The warranty doesn’t cover conditions arising from accidents, third-party actions, environmental factors, misuse, abuse, delivery damages, or results of unauthorized modifications or alterations. Conditions resulting from inappropriate maintenance, care, or damages stemming from chemical treatments, cleaning agents, or protective coatings on the product are also excluded. Usage of such treatments and products nullifies all warranties by Holzsch. The only resolution for a product defect is strictly confined to Holzsch repairing or replacing the faulty part, without extending the warranty duration. This will be actioned only upon Holzsch receiving a valid written defect claim from the original buyer within 1 year of the product’s shipment. While our pieces are crafted for endurance and longevity, natural attributes such as movement, checks, knots, warping, swelling, and color shifts are inherent to solid wood furniture and might occur over time. Various environmental factors can also influence your furniture’s state over its lifespan. Elements like light, temperature, and humidity play pivotal roles in your furniture’s well-being.
Size and dimension variability.
The sizes and dimensions of Holzsch's designs may slightly differ from the delivered products due to the natural expansion and contraction of wood, the inherent traits of the materials used, and the artisanal nature of Holzsch creations. The customer assumes all responsibility concerning the determination of a product’s precise size and dimension. Any discrepancies in size or dimension due to customer miscalculation will not lead to the cancellation of an order or warrant a refund.
Appearance variability.
Customers should note that the appearance of the wood chosen for a specific product might differ from sample pieces because of wood's natural characteristics and the unique craftsmanship in each Holzsch product. As such, there's no guarantee about the exact shade, sheen, or overall appearance of product finishes. Customers should also be aware that Holzsch's wooden products might showcase mineral deposits, pits, gum streaks, pinholes, knots, checks, cracks, color variances, distinctive grain patterns, darker heart wood, lighter sap wood, and more. The prevalence of these features varies based on the wood type and can be seen across both handcrafted and machined items. Since no two Holzsch products are identical, there's no assurance that one product will look precisely like another.
