At Holzsch, we take pride in the quality and integrity of every piece we craft. If you’re not satisfied with your purchase, we offer a straightforward return policy to support you while protecting the care we invest in our products.

Return Window

You may request a return within 30 days of receiving your order.

Eligibility for Return

• The item must be in unused, undamaged condition
• It must be shipped back in original or equivalent protective packaging
• Stock items are eligible for return
• Custom-made items are not eligible unless they arrive with a clear defect or damage

Items Not Eligible for Return

• Custom orders, including any bespoke dimensions, materials, finishes, or epoxy selections
• Products altered after delivery (including refinishing, assembly, or third-party modifications)
• Items marked Final Sale or Clearance
• Items exposed to outdoor environments or improper conditions (e.g., humidity, heat, neglect)

How to Initiate a Return

1. Contact info@holzsch.com within 30 days of delivery. Include your order number, a brief explanation, and photos if relevant.
2. If approved, you will receive a Return Authorization and shipping instructions.
3. The customer is responsible for return shipping and adequate packaging.
4. Once we receive and inspect the item, we will issue a refund to the original payment method, minus original shipping costs.

Damaged or Defective Items

If your item arrives damaged or has a workmanship issue:

• Notify us within 5 days of delivery
• Include photos of the product and its packaging
• Holzsch will repair, replace, or refund the item at our discretion

Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. If eligible, return the item and place a new order.

Additional Terms

• Refunds are processed within 7–10 business days after inspection
• Returns not meeting these conditions may be rejected or subject to a restocking fee
• Holzsch reserves the right to evaluate each case individually
• In-store returns for stock items follow the same 30-day return policy

Caring for your Holzsch Live Edge and Epoxy table is essential to ensure its longevity, maintain its beauty, and uphold its unique character. Here are some guidelines to keep your table in pristine condition:

1. General Cleaning:

• Use a soft, lint-free cloth to wipe the table.
• For regular cleaning, dampen the cloth with lukewarm water, wring out excess water, and gently wipe the table's surface. Dry it immediately with a soft cloth.
• Avoid using abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or acidic cleaning agents as they might damage the table's finish.

2. Epoxy Resin Care:

• Do not place hot objects directly on the epoxy resin sections. While the resin can handle some heat, prolonged exposure can cause discoloration or deformation.
• Use coasters or placemats to prevent potential scratches or marks.
• If the epoxy becomes cloudy or scratched over time, you can rejuvenate its shine by using a mild polishing compound and a soft cloth.

3. Wood Care:

• To maintain the wood's moisture content and prevent cracking or warping, avoid placing your table near heat sources or in direct sunlight.
• Natural wood can expand and contract with changing humidity levels. It's normal for the wood to have slight movements.
• For deeper cleaning or to address stains, use a wood-specific cleaner, ensuring you follow the manufacturer's instructions.

4. Spills:

• Address any spills immediately to prevent staining. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe away the spill and then dry the area.
• If a stain occurs, especially on the wood sections, consider consulting a furniture professional for advice on removal.

5. Protection:

• Consider using protective pads when placing heavy objects or electronics on the table to avoid potential indentations.Use trivets under hot dishes or pots.

6. Yearly Maintenance:

• Re-oil the wood sections once a year or as needed, using a suitable wood oil to retain its luster and ensure protection. Before applying, ensure the table is clean and dry.

7. Avoid Chemicals:

• Refrain from using harsh chemicals or cleaning agents as they may react with the epoxy resin or damage the wood's natural finish.

8. Moving the Table:

• When relocating the table, lift it rather than dragging it to ensure the table's structure remains intact and to avoid potential scratches on the floor.
